Microwaves and metals (微波与金属)

[内容简介]
Many books have been written on microwaves but they are restricted to the areas of processing of food, ceramics and chemicals. There has been no attempt to consolidate the issues related to the interaction of microwaves with metals, and there is no text written so far that brings together the fundamentals of microwaves, microwave heating, interaction of microwaves with metals, and its application to other materials. Most of the work has been done in last 15 years, and this area gaining increasing attention worldwide in both academia and industry. Accordingly, the aim of this book is to introduce readers to the world of microwaves, placing special emphasis on addressing fundamentals of its interactions with metals and metals-based formulations. Also included are overviews of microwave heating of other non-metal materials and the equipment used for microwave-assisted metallurgy.
