本书是关于压电现象的专著。本书首先介绍了压电材料的晶体结构,接着详细地介绍并讲解了压电器件在多个领域的各种应用。本书还综述了在压电材料和器件中经常运用的特征方法。特别地,本书探讨了从经验热力学理论、压电材料第一性原理,乃至器件的有限元建模出发的各种建模方式。本书适合材料物理、固体物理、无机化学方向的研究生用作教材,同时也可供这些领域的科学家和工程师参考。
