《经典英语名人名篇阅读》讲述了：Stepping into the advanced stage of English reading,students will find that it is the interpretation of meaning ratherthan the study of difficult vocabulary and grammar that becomesthe chief challenge. When I was choosing the materials for thisreading textbook, which intends to develop students' ability ofinterpretation, the ability to gain the ideas, I did one thing forcertain, that is, all the texts are very meaningful （or insightful）writings.
