[内容简介]

This new and exciting book, published in celebration of the centenary of Alan Turing’s birth in London, includes a large number of the most significant contributions from the 4-volume set of the Collected Works of A. M. Turing. These contributions, together with a wide spectrum of accompanying commentaries from current world-leading experts in many different fields and backgrounds, provide insight on the significance and contemporary impact of A. M. Turing’s work.

S. Barry Cooper is a Professor of Mathematical Logic at the University of Leeds in England and President of the Association Computability in Europe. He is Chair of the Turing Centenary Advisory Committee and a published author of many books and papers.

Jan van Leeuwen is a Professor of Computing Science at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. He is a member of the Turing Centenary Advisory Committee and a published author of many journal and conference papers.
